Casita Quetzal

Our home is equipped with a stereo system. We have speakers in the living room, master bedroom, outside under the terrace, and the pool. Below are instructions on how to operate it including how to connect your device to the bluetooth so you can play your music throughout the home during your stay. We hope that you enjoy, but we ask that you please respect our rules.

Stereo Rules: 

​

1. Please respect our neighbors and do not play music outside past 8pm. You can easily turn off the outside speakers and leave the inside on. Instructions below. 

2. Do not touch the back of the unit. We have it wired correctly for the home. 

3. Do not turn the master volume past 50%. You should not need to touch the master volume. To adjust the volume of each channel (room), you can use the channel volume buttons to do so. instructions below. 

4. Do not max out the channel volume or you can damage the stereo, you should not need to over 50% on each channel. 

5. Do not change the echo, treble, or bass knobs on the front panel. These are optimally tuned.

6. Please turn off the unit using the power button when you are not using it.

Channels: 

​

1. Channel A (cha vol.) - Living Room

2. Channel B (chb vol.) - Master Bedroom

3. Channel C (chc vol.) - Terrace

4. Channel D (chd vol.) - Pool

Instructions: 

​

1. Turn the unit on or off with the power button on the bottom left of the front panel. 

2. To turn on or off a channel (room), use the 4 channel volume knobs. Each channel has a knob and are located at the top of the unit. To turn off a channel simply turn the knob to the left to zero volume. To turn on a channel and to control its volume, simply turn the volume to the right until you reach the desired volume.

   1. cha vol - will turn on or off the living room 

   2. chb vol - will turn on or off the master bedroom

   3. chc vol - will turn on or off the outside terrace

   4. chd vol - will turn on or off the outside pool 

3. Connecting your device to bluetooth

   1. Rotate the input selection knob to the position 4 setting - MP3/BT. The knob is located on the bottom right of the front panel.​

   2. Press the BT button on the front panel. The button is located to the left of the display screen. pressing this button will put the unit into bluetooth pairing mode. 

   3. Open your device such as a iPhone, Andriod, Smartphone, iPad, Tablet, laptop. Open the bluetooth settings in your device and select the bluetooth device name "DONNER MAMP5". This will pair your device to the speaker. 

   4. Open your music app (Spotify, Pandora, iTunes) on your device, play your music, and it should now play through the system. The digital display should say "BLUE" when bluetooth is in use.
